I want you to actually live your life, not just exist.

If you’re a single woman torn between career warrior, momma bear, or just surviving, I want to reignite a fire inside of you to live again.

Hey, I’m Sharon.

Your Guide to thriving as a single, successful and strong woman.

If you’re a woman, especially a professional single one, it can be exhausting and lonely trying to live a great life for yourself while loving everyone else around you. I want to break that cycle of feeling like you have to be all things to all people…… all of the time and there never being any of you left over for you.

That’s not how you drew up your life as a little girl.

Some of us dream of dresses, some of white picket fences, some of taking over the family business, or even becoming president. You know what none of us dreamed of:

  • Constantly feeling guilty if you don’t put yourself last.

  • The pressure that comes with juggling a career and motherhood.

  • Being worn out, day in and day out, by trying to meet everyone else’s needs.

Kind of gives off, “damned if you do and damned if you don’t” vibes doesn’t it?

I broke that cycle and I can help you do the same.

I created my blog so that you can do better than just survive.

You can thrive.

Why call it… Life Unbound? Why a Blog?

Everyday, life and the choices we've made up to this point make us feel “bound” or tied down. It sneaks up on us. Like a pressure or pain that’s there but we aren’t sure when it started, where it came from or how to escape it. It’s a paradox; one of caring for everyone else but feeling guilty for caring about ourselves. When that happens, we stop living and just sort of…. exist. The deadlines get hit, the bills get paid, the babies get fed, but we lose ourselves. I write and retell the stories of when I found myself so that you can do the same. What does it mean to live unbound? Imagine that light on your toes, carefree dance in the backyard as a little girl feeling… but you’re 50 and successful at whatever you set your mind to. That’s what I want for you, and am not ashamed anymore to say, I want it too.

Here are some of my favorite or featured blog posts to get you started. -Sharon.

"The older I get, the more I realize that mistakes are not only a part of life, but they are instrumental in shaping us into who we become. While we are in the middle of making these mistakes, an experience also known as living our lives, we do not recognize the lasting impact for good they can have - if we let them. Life can make us bitter or better and we choose better each time we pick ourselves up after we fall. I’m learning every day that failure is not fatal. " — Sharon Galicia
