What is the Foundation of Your Well-Being?
In our culture, it’s common for us to automatically respond with "I'm fine" when someone asks how we're doing, whether it's true or not. But let me ask you something deeper: What is your sense of well-being built upon?
Is it grounded in your children’s health, a good job, or a relationship? While these are all wonderful aspects of life, they are also unpredictable. Health can change, jobs can shift, and relationships can face challenges. So, what happens to your sense of stability when these things are shaken? Do you have a foundation that remains steady, no matter what life throws at you?
I want to feel secure, regardless of the circumstances. Life is full of uncertainties, and it can be unsettling when we build our sense of security on things that are temporary.
So, I ask again: What is your foundation? What truth sustains you, even when life takes unexpected turns?
